Directors Session at Erikson Institute

Location:  Edward Neisser Library, Erikson Institute, 451 N LaSalle, Chicago.  

Directions. Check in with the security guard to be directed to the meeting room.

Parking: Discounted parking is available at four parking locations with proper validation from Erikson security. Erikson is also easily accessible via public transportation. DO NOT park adjacent to the building on the south side of Illinois street between LaSalle and Clark, this is a commercial parking zone.

These “listening sessions” will be informal 2 hour sessions. The sessions will offer library directors an opportunity to talk about their library’s challenges and successes. Although the gathering is intended to be very informal, here are some questions that might help frame the day:

• Are there opportunities that you see that you can’t take advantage of that maybe CARLI could help you with or leverage for you?
• Are there other opportunities for collaboration that CARLI should be pursuing? 
• Are there best practices in your organization that exemplify collaboration through CARLI that we could share with the rest of the consortium?
• Is there a program/service that you are conducting that could be leveraged at scale?
