CARLI is pleased to announce the conditional* availability of a second round of applications for the creation of Open Educational Resources for Illinois SCOERs (Support for Creation of Open Educational Resources). Our primary focus are courses that fall within the theme of "The Human Condition: Care, Development, and Lifespan" but we will also consider large enrollment courses that fall within other subject areas. This project will be fully funded by an additional $1 million supplemental grant to the University of Illinois System/CARLI, from the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE) in the U.S. Department of Education.
CARLI will award a minimum of eight grants as part of Illinois SCOERs. Each applicant team may request up to $60,000.
For detailed information and to access the application materials, view the Illinois SCOERs Notice of Funding Opportunity.
CARLI will host the following informational Zoom workshops to discuss the grant and to walk future applicants through the application process.
Each workshop will cover the same information. Potential applicants need only attend one session. Attending a workshop is not required.
If you have questions, please join us for our weekly office hours.
Completed application packets should be emailed to Project Director, Michele Leigh. The submission deadline for the completed application packet, including all requested documents, is November 1, 2022.
