PDA Event: Engaging Students in Their Own Learning: Incorporating OER into Science (and non-Science) Classes

In this third webinar in our Fall webinar "Open Science Stories from Florida" series, Dr. G. Douglas Kines, Professor of Biological Sciences, Florida State College at Jacksonville, will provide both science-based and non-science-based instructors/instructional designers/staffers with methods to engage students in their own learning while integrating OER. Techniques such as mastery learning, constructivist learning, service learning, and problem-based learning (and associated OER resources) will be defined and briefly explored.
