PDA Event: Accessible Library Experiences

While a lot of great resources focus on the important work of digital accessibility, fully serving our communities also means making sure everyone can participate in-person and access the physical spaces of the library. Starting with real-world examples from the NC State University Libraries, we’ll ideate solutions to make library events, services, and environments more inclusive for people with disabilities. Even when some aspects of our buildings are beyond our direct control, we can get creative to make an immediate positive impact while also learning about and advocating for the needs of people in our communities to move forward long-term change.
