Part 2 of a 2 part series. Open pedagogy, also known as open educational practices (OEP), is the use of OER to support learning, or the open sharing of teaching practices with a goal of improving education and training at the institutional, professional, and individual level. OEP positions students as content creators, not just consumers, and guides them to understanding their responsibility as global citizens and contributors to the knowledge commons. This workshop is part of a series of workshops designed for the awardees of the Illinois Secretary of State/ Illinois State Library OER sub-grants and is open to all CARLI members.
