CARLI has received a grant from the Illinois Secretary of State/Illinois State Library to help administer the OER Creation grants. CARLI is assisting the awardees through all steps of their OER creations. As part of CARLI's efforts to help the teams we are offering regularly scheduled Office Hours, and multiple workshops to aid in the creation of open educational resources.
Wednesdays from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Registration is not required.

In 2024, CARLI offered workshops designed to help librarians and faculty with the creation of Open Educational Resources. While the workshops were part of a series for the awardees of the Illinois Secretary of State / Illinois State Library OER Grants, they were open to all CARLI members with an interest in OER creation. These twelve workshops fall into six topical areas including Project Management; Accessibility; Copyright and Creative Commons; Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; Instructional Design; and LibreTexts. Recordings are available for all of the workshops.
