In 2020 CARLI will celebrate 40 years of resource sharing in Illinois though I-Share and its predecessor ILCSO (Illinois Library Computer Systems Online). This year also marks 15 years since CARLI was formed by consolidating ILCSO, IDAL (Illinois Digital Academic Library), and ICCMP (Illinois Cooperative Collection Management Program). To commemorate and celebrate this important anniversary we want to recognize and celebrate the rich history of resource sharing in Illinois.

Whether you’re an Illinois long-timer who remembers all those acronyms, or whether CARLI is the start of our relationship, we want to hear from you! We invite you to share your reflections and favorite memories about CARLI, ILCSO, IDAL, ICCMP, and resource sharing in Illinois. There’s no deadline or limit to how many stories you can share but don’t delay. Encourage your colleagues, students and faculty to submit theirs, too! We’ll be posting select stories, images, and recordings on our website and in our e-newsletter.
