Register for the CARLI Governing Directors Meetings

All Directors of CARLI Governing member libraries are invited to attend any one of three Governing Directors meetings to be held in October. Meetings will be held in Chicago and Springfield on the following dates: 

• Wednesday, October 28, 9:30–11:30 am, Illini Center, Chicago. Register
• Wednesday, October 28, 1:30–3:30 pm, Illini Center, Chicago. Register
• Thursday, October 29, 1:30–3:30 pm, Illinois State Library, Springfield. Register

The meeting will include the Executive Director’s report, an overview of consortial projects, and an update on recent Board actions. With so many of our libraries facing serious budget cuts, I’d like to encourage Directors to come prepared to talk about the processes and strategies you’re using to make your budget decisions. The meeting will also provide an opportunity for you to provide feedback on current issues and concerns.
 
To register for the Directors’ meeting of your choice, please complete the registration form at the link provided above. The meetings are limited to one representative per Governing member institution. If you are unable to attend, you may select a delegate to attend on your behalf. Please register by 5 pm on Monday, October 19.
