Illinois SCOERs : Getting Started with Your 3D Printer

Please join CARLI and Elisandro Cabada, Assistant Professor, Medical and Bioengineering Librarian, Director of the Grainger Engineering Library IDEA Lab, for the first of several workshops on 3D printing and OER. This workshop is designed for the Illinois SCOERs grantees but is open to all who are interested.

This sessions will cover:

o          General introduction to 3D printing

o          Expectations for each grant project group’s 3D printing coordinator

o          Setting up your workspace

o          Best practices for maintaining your printer and supplies

o          Download Cura software
