Decisions

• The Board approved the proposal to reduce membership fees by 10% for FY 2021, with recalculation of the fees for FY 2022. 
• The Board approved the proposal to pause until FY 2022 the Professional Development Reimbursement Program and the Mobile Digitization Lab.
• The Board approved the extension of the deadline of the committee reports and annual projects to August 15. 
• The meeting was adjourned at 4:55 p.m. 

Tasks Assigned: 

• CARLI staff will communicate with the Governing Directors regarding the change in membership fees, the changes in previously announced programs for FY2021, and to gather information regarding fiscal projections for their institutions.
• CARLI staff will investigate options and develop models for expending funds to further support e-resource subscriptions, additional membership fee relief, and purchase of consortially shareable e-books. Models will be disseminated to the Board via email for further discussion. 
• CARLI staff will work with the OER Task Force to develop a plan for transitioning to virtual OER training.
