- Ashley McMullin (DePaul University): DePaul’s library is currently hiring 9 full and part-time staff members.
- Steven Brantley (EIU): New Dean, Brian Keith coming from University of Florida.
- Gretchen Schneider (Oakton College): Oakton College's Library in Skokie has moved to their temporary space as we prepare for construction of our Learning Commons space. Also hired a new full time faculty librarian, Brittany Coleman, Assistant Professor, Community Engagement Librarian.
- Beth Hultman (Elgin Community College): We are starting a student led library advisory committee with TRIO students starting Sept. 11th. We have 10 interested members so far.
- Arlie Sims (Columbia College Chicago): We're excited that our English Creative Writing Dept is working with a SCOERS grant to produce an OER writing text "Authoring Culture: Writing in the 21st Century"
