- Annual Project
- Preservation Interviews
- The committee talked about release forms. CARLI staff developed a form, based on Rob’s oral histories release form, which Ann sent out to the listserv last week. In the interest of consistency we should have former interviewees to sign off on the release form. Committee members (the interviewer) will complete the first three “blanks” in the release form.
- Preservation Tips
- Ann sent a list of questions to Lesa Dowd at the Newberry on staff training. Working on completing the interview for the March newsletter.
- Meghan currently working on the Preservation Week post.
- Open House Tours
- Open house is coming up on the 27th. After today (3/9), waitlist registration will open up. Originally limited to one person per institution. Currently nine open spaces. Registration will fill if/when waitlist is opened, but first CARLI will put out a call for non-represented institutions.
- CARLI invited those giving tours to join for lunch.
- The exhibit tour will be guided.
- Nora, Rob, Ann, and Mary are able to be walking or public transit guides between Newberry and the Chicago History Museum.
- Addition of welcome remarks on the agenda. Elizabeth will add something to the agenda.
- Other
- Bonnie shared (through Nicole) that ALPL’s calendar is filling up so if this committee or any others want to have an event there it should be scheduled sooner rather than later.
Decisions
- Minutes of the February 2020 meeting were approved.
- Release forms will be standard practice moving forward with interviews. Interviews already conduced will also need to get the appropriate signatures.

- The meeting was adjourned at 10:35 am.
