Decisions:

• The meeting was adjourned at 2:00pm.
• The title for this year’s theme is: "Inclusive Classroom: Cultivating learning environments for students with diverse identities."

Announcements:

• Upcoming CARLI events:
  • Annual meeting - 11/2
  • Resource Sharing forum - 10/25
  • Cataloging training - 10/18 & 10/19
  • Voyager skills webinar series - every two weeks this fall

Tasks assigned:

• One page summary for the Annual meeting is due on 10/22. Provide final comments within the next week.
• Mackenzie sent a poll about the possibility of doing podcasts/interviews on this year's topic as a supplement to the webinars.
• Mackenzie will contact Annette Alvarado (Loyola) and Alyssa Vincent, Michelle Oh, Robin Harris (NEIU) about doing a webinar in December.
• Mackenzie and Marielle will contact Emily Knox & Nicole Cooke (UIUC) about some type of presentation, possibly a keynote at the Showcase.
• Mackenzie will work on a posting for the CARLI Instruction Interest Group Listserv on this year’s theme as a way to generate discussion. She will share a draft with the committee.
• Molly & Rebecca will work on a brief description to accompany the theme title.
