• Toolkit
  • The committee mapped previous instruction showcase presentations to the ACRL Frames.
  • Guittar and Whaley will draft an email to all previous showcase presenters to let them know that we will be adding the mapping of the ACRL frames to their presentations. This email will ask presenters to share any additional handouts, to update their descriptions, or to let the committee know they would prefer not to be included in the toolkit. Guittar and Whaley will send the draft to the committee to approve.
  • Guittar, Smallman, Van Riper, and Walker will fill in the google spreadsheet on the Instruction Toolkit Homepage from the information we have on previous presenters. The rest of the committee will find sources about the Frames to add to the bibliography. The majority of this work should be started before the April 17 meeting. The final deadline is by the May 15 meeting.
  • The committee decided that the toolkit will include an explanation of the committee’s work with the ACRL Frames, including what we have done so far and why this work is important. The mapping between the showcase and the frames will be included. We will also explain that we will be building on this toolkit in subsequent years. Next year we will focus on creating learning objectives for the Frames.
