Announcements   

CARLI Updates

• Jenny reported that CARLI is wrapping up the FY24 e-resource selection cycle. Reminder are being sent out to library contacts as needed. The selection system will remain open through the weekend and will close first thing Monday. For libraries still unsure about their subscriptions, it's easier to add things later than to take items off the list afterward.
• Jenny reported for Elizabeth Clarage with an update on the CARLI ebook program.
• Denise highlighted upcoming CARLI events, including:
  • The instruction showcase, a half-day virtual session to be held on June 1 in the afternoon
  • The next Alma/Primo VE Open Office hours, scheduled for May 11, 2-3 pm, which will focus on new features in the latest Alma and Primo VE quarterly software release

PRODUCT PROPOSALS

nkoda - the committee discussed the proposal and tabled a decision until the June meeting.

Committee Annual Report

• Michele will draft the committee report and send to the committee for review.

Other Business

• Jenny asked the committee to think about whether we should change up the proposal process, such as sending out queries to CARLI listservs to gauge interest in products that have been proposed. The committee agreed this sounded like a good idea and will discuss further at the next meeting
• The current committee year is winding down, and Nicole asked remaining members to give some thought to chairing or co-chairing next year. New members to the committee will likely be announced at the June meeting.
