CARLI Updates

CARLI's fall selection system closed. Total spend was down compared to last fall. A few libraries canceled their big journal packages and went a-la-cart. Many libraries picked up billing of Sage CQ products through CARLI; effects of this will be better understood in the future once partial-year prorations are accounted for.

Close to finalizing the ACS contract.

The Collection Management Committee is hosting an informal chat on December 11 to discuss how libraries have coped with the past year.

CARLI staff prepping for upcoming CARLI Board meeting. E-Resources staff will present more formal data on the fall selection cycle, which will be shared with the committee.

Review of Committee Charge & Structure

The committee discussed the draft of the committee structure document. The committee added accessibility language and an EDI statement to the committee charge, and gave recommendations for other committees to be considered.

Based on feedback, Megan and Marie would finalize the  draft and send to Amanda.

Decisions

Minutes from the October 30, 2020 meeting were approved.
