• CARLI Announcements:
  • CARLI Newsletter: Be aware of upcoming events.
  • The CRDP (Cataloging Record Distribution Program) at the GPO is ceasing operations as of March 2025.
  • CARLI E-Book program usage stats were sent out to CARLI members.
  • CARLI E-Resources is moving from CARLI Selection System to Consortia Manager. Opening in early October. Training for librarians will be happening soon.

Discussion

• Topic ideas for table talk sessions at the CARLI Annual Meeting:
  • Weeding or promoting library resources.
  • Obtaining streaming licenses. A discussion can be had on how to create a guide.
  • Committee wants to have a table talk session, but will continue to think about potential topics.
• The Committee decided to postpone discussing the Weeding Webpage.
• Public Services Committee’s AI symposium Collaboration
  • The committee is interested in this topic but does not have something to contribute to the symposium at this time.
• Spreadsheet for the State Library Databases
  • Committee is looking into sharing the spreadsheet in a listserv and sharing a link to the spreadsheet on the CARLI’s E-Resources funded resource page.
  • Review For the spreadsheet, we added a new column to list the content type for each database.
  • Possible collaboration opportunity with the Commercial Product Committee to assist us in gathering information for the spreadsheet.
