• Joliet Junior College Library has a couple of librarian searches going on.

Decisions

• Susan Prokopeak led the meeting as Pam Hackbart-Dean was not available.
• Jane Hopkins was selected to take Minutes.
• The tentative program for the eBook Symposium was reviewed.
• The meeting was adjourned at 10:45 am.

Tasks assigned

• Susan Prokopeak and Christophe Andersen will review the links on the Scholarly Communication Website for the spring 6-month review.
• eBook Symposium:
  • Jen Masciadrelli will talk to Elizabeth Clarage about how much time she needs for the CARLI DDA report at the Spring eBook Symposium, and whether she thinks it should be right after lunch or at the end of the afternoon.
  • Sally Gibson will check with Anita Foster at ISU to see if she can be on the panel when her plans are finalized in mid-February.
  • Susan Prokopeak will contact Dominican Library School faculty to see if there is someone doing research relevant to ebooks who could present in the eBook Symposium morning slot.
  • Susan Prokopeak or Jen Masciadrelli will check with Elizabeth Clarage and Lynn Wiley about possible researchers from GSLIS at U of I who could present in the eBook symposium morning slot.
• Annual Project: eBook Bibliography
  • Kristina Howard and Susan Prokopeak will check over the tentative list of ebook citations to see if links can be added for any of them.
  • Committee members should continue to send in more citations to Pam Hackbart-Dean to be added to the list.
  • This ebook bibliography prepared as the Committee’s Annual Project will be posted on the CARLI/Committee website and possibly distributed at the eBook Symposium.
• Fall Educational Program
  • Members should keep thinking of topics for possible fall webinars or educational event, and send suggestions to Pam Hackbart-Dean.
